Spend a day with watercolour artist Harriet de Winton. Enjoy an introduction to flower painting in Harriet’s new botanical style.
Finding inspiration from seasonal flowers and foliage you will learn the fundamentals of watercolour as well as the key steps to painting any plant or flower. We will finish off the class with everyone painting a watercolour wreath choosing whichever plants and flowers they have enjoyed painting the most.
All materials are provided and all painting abilities welcomed!

Watercolour 5 Day Retreat in Monsaraz, Portugal
Enjoy 5 days and 4 nights in the stunning surroundings of Monsaraz, Portugal. On this getaway you will enjoy 5 watercolour sessions with Harriet. You will learn Harriet’s unique and addictive watercolour style, that will begin by getting everyone up to speed with basic botanical watercolour techniques which will then allow us to do studies of local plants and flowers in the grounds of the venue. We will venture out to paint the natural landscapes as well as more focused studies of plants and flowers in Harriet’s new botanical style. Harriet’s teaching style welcomes painters of all abilities.
