Winter Awakening, Honiton

Banish the Winter blues and get ready for Spring! I will be teaching a watercolour workshop as part of this gentle day of activity to calm your mind, nourish your body and stimulate your creativity; bringing balance, harmony and enrichment to your whole being.
Reconnect your mind and body with Core Stories Yoga. Alix Coleby is an experienced, certified Core Strength Vinyasa yogi. Alix will lead an empowering morning of flow followed later with an afternoon meditation. Alix will safely challenge your physical strength and help you find a deeper core connection.
Before lunch enjoy the peaceful environs of the East Devon countryside. Join us for an invigorating winter walk or take a moment for quiet contemplation.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day and award-winning chef Josh McDonald-Johnson from Mulberry Catering will be creating a nutritious and energising lunch to revive you for the afternoon’s activities.
Our afternoon workshop is led by the artist, calligraphist and author Harriet De Winton (De Winton Paper co). Harriet designs and produces beautiful, personalised, hand-painted stationery and will teach you the art of modern botanical watercolours. Learn the fundamentals of watercolour and the key steps to painting any plant or flower before creating your own artwork to take home.
Devon Business and Education Centre is a tranquil, intimate setting and the perfect place to relax and hold space for yourself.
Spaces are limited and tickets must be booked in advance.
Tickets are priced at £90 per person and include all activities, refreshments and a two-course lunch.

Taking inspiration from seasonal blooms you will spend a full day learning how to paint watercolour flowers and foliage in the new botanical style. You will start with the fundamentals of watercolour as well as understanding the key steps to painting any plant or flower. You will paint on both a large and small scale, creating arrangements and patterns.
Enjoy a delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day. This workshop is suitable for all levels, a fun, creative and relaxing day!
All materials and refreshments will be provided.
The studio is based in the village of Wedmore, Somerset. We are based 25 minutes from Bristol International Airport; Nearest Train Station; and M5 Motorway. Accommodation is available on site and within the village and help can be provided when making your travel plans. Free Parking is available and a light lunch is included.

I am thrilled to finally be coming up to the Cotswolds to teach a workshop at the beautiful Barnsley House.
Enjoy an introduction to watercolour and learn how to observe, draw and paint the captivating structures of beautiful botanicals, including a two course lunch and refreshments.

River Cottage, Axminster

This is a perfect introduction to botanical watercolour painting, perfect for beginners as well as offering a new approach for more experienced watercolorists. All in the inspiring setting of Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's River Cottage. You will be treated to a delicious lunch cooked by the RC chefs as well as being plied with wonderful refreshments throughout the day.
